Hi The coach zone,
Welcome to this weeks Get COACHd on Friday.
Attending the CIPD show in Manchester last week was interesting. The messages were clear to me (through my lens),
- content is ubiquitous – what you do with it is key,
- virtual reality is here,
- wellbeing continues to be be a big agenda item and
- HR systems continue to grow.
Others who attended may have differing takeouts – we all have our own focus when attending these events.
A weekend in Snowdonia re-emphasised that sometimes we need to work with limitations. Having broken my foot canoeing (see Back to Nature above), climbing mountains was a challenge and I needed to adapt. This is very much like business where we may have outcomes we want to achieve but need to push through limitations that are real (broken foot) or created (mindset).
I was affected by the 10 O Clock news this week. The Somalia famine situation really impacted as story after story talked about suffering. So, if you are interested in some supervision or coaching with ALL moneys going to Save the Children fund – then please visit here for the story and booking in process.
Join us on 2 December at noon for a webinar entitled New Years Resolutions Stink – Time for a rethink. Its FREE and it will be great to have you along. More details over at Eventbrite.
I am also collecting interest for a coaching development and supervision cohort. More information here – but when this is full, it will be full. If interested then please do get in contact via this web page and book a chat with me to explore suitability.
So to today – Enjoy the reads!
