What is Co-Coaching?
Co-coaching is an exciting approach that brings together two or more coaches who work collaboratively, serving as coach and coachee interchangeably. It’s an environment where coaches, both novice and experienced, come together to explore and learn in a mutually beneficial relationship, developing their coaching skills and understanding.
Why Participate in Co-Coaching?
Here’s why you should consider co-coaching:
- Professional Development: Learn from your peers’ experiences and methodologies, improving your skills and understanding of coaching.
- Skill Enhancement: Enhance your questioning, active listening, and feedback skills, among others. Gain confidence in your abilities.
- Increased Empathy: By occasionally playing the role of the coachee, you understand their perspective better, improving your overall coaching approach.
- Feedback and Reflection: Gain constructive feedback on your coaching style and technique, enabling you to grow and evolve.
